R. A. Dibbs & Sons Pty Ltd was established in 1922 by Reginald Dibbs.
After Reginald’s sudden death at the age of 55 years Arthur Alfred Dibbs and his brother Victor successfully and proudly followed in their Father’s footsteps.
From those early days, Arthur and Victor expanded their horizons by servicing all facets of Fumigation, Pest Control and Building contracts. Arthur and Victor were the pioneers in the Australian Fumigation field covering Queensland and northern New South Wales.
In 1979, Arthur’s youngest and only son, Richard, joined the business full-time. Richard was an apprentice Carpenter and Joiner. Qualifying as a Tradesman in 1983, specializing in all domestic and commercial buildings, including the Queensland Building Services Authority license (QBSA) in house building, general building, carpentry, joinery and Pest control.
In 1980′s, Richard was fully trained and licensed in Pest Control and Fumigation through the Queensland Health Department giving him a full open license to carry out Pest Control, Stack, Ship, Building and Silo Fumigation.
R. A. Dibbs & Sons Pty Ltd has received accreditation from the following Government and non-government organizations:-
- Agsafe (Queensland’s governing authority on Chemical storage and handling).
- Australian Quarantine Inspection Services (AQIS)
- Quality Assurance (QA)
- Queensland Building Services Authority (QBSA)
- Housing Industry Association (HIA)
- Master Builders Association (MBA)

The introduction of vacuum chamber fumigation, scrubbing of fumigants into liquid bi-products and the use of modern fumigants are some of the aspects of fumigation carried out at our facility.
Our services includes all Pest Control, Termite Eradication and Building Services along with Ethylene Oxide Sterilisation treatment, Methyl Bromide Fumigation, Supply of Methyl Bromide Gas, Heat Treatment, ISPM 15 Treatment, Dis-Infestation Treatment Facility (Import, Export and NZ BQA) and Cold Room Facility.
